Bari-Cafe.com is a new website in development that is to help bring together the growing community (or should we say SHRINKING!) of people who have had bariatric weight loss surgery or just decided that a much healthier diet is in order for their lifestyle! It was conceived in May of 2012 by two friends; Chef Ian Beck, graduate of Le Cordon Blue culinary college, and Andy Weinberg, former cook and IT Architect. Melding both their skills, they wanted to bring together their areas of expertise with another of their common areas; they both are bariatric patients who found that gaining information on recipes, especially at the early stages of their journey was not the easiest of tasks.
In the near future we will be posting recipes, created by a culinary master, that are easy to make, nutritionally sound, and delicious! Just because you have dietary requirements does not mean it cannot be delicious!
